    About the Workbook

    This food insecurity learner workbook was developed by the Curriculum and Assessment Pillar Workgroup of the Community Pediatrics Training Initiative (CPTI) of the AAP. Authors of this workbook are educators in the field of Advocacy and Community Pediatrics from across the country with experience working in a variety of pediatric roles, in a wide range of communities.

    The goal of this tool is to equip learners with knowledge needed to understand the social and structural aspects of food insecurity and how it can impact pediatric health directly and indirectly.
