Help Families Access Food Assistance Programs & Resources

Children need enough healthy food to grow, but food can cost a lot. Pediatricians can direct caregivers to various community resources to help them avoid running out of food. Programs such as SNAP, WIC, food banks, food pantries, and in-school meals can provide caregivers with food to lighten the cost burden that comes with grocery shopping.
